Dr. Khalid Masood is a renowned upper extremity surgeon of Pakistan. He did his fellowships in hand and upper limb reconstructive and micro-surgery from UK and USA. He also did his fellowship in upper extremity sports surgery and reconstruction of shoulder and Elbow from Belgium. He is heading Hand Elbow Shoulder Solutions (HESS) situated in Lahore, Pakistan. He has vast experience in managing the complex trauma, deformities, tendon and nerve injuries. Brachial plexus and upper limb paralytic issues i.e. cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, stroke and tetraplegia are frequently managed in his center. He is pioneer of advanced shoulder surgery in Pakistan. His practice includes management of sports injuries related to shoulder, elbow and wrist. Most of the cases are managed arthroscopically while some need open surgical reconstructive management. He has great interest in arthroplastic procedures of upper extremity especially of shoulder related to arthritis, trauma and tumor.
